"Sorry Mom": 18-Year-Old NEET Aspirant Dies By Suicide After Finding Retest 'Difficult'
Hingoli, Maharashtra: A NEET aspirant, a 18-year-old student from Maharashtra’s Hingoli district, allegedly died by suicide after recording a video message for his mother on his mobile phone on Thursday, June 25.
Folding his two hands, the student, who took the recently held NEET-UG re-test following the cancellation of the earlier exam due to paper leak allegations, asked his mother for a pardon for causing pain to her.

The aspirant, identified as Sushil Dhage, had appeared in the NEET exam held on June 21. In his recording before killing self, the NEET aspirant said, Just forgive me, Mom, take good care of yourself, and do not worry about me. I am in deep pain, I cannot do anything. I do not understand anything anymore. Just forgive me, Mom. After the recording, the boy jumped into a well, killing himself.
The family in a police complaint has alleged that the student found his NEET re-test difficult, and he was distressed after appearing for the re-examination.
