Amid Spike In Students Suicide, Another NEET Aspirant Dies By Suicide In Kota
Kota, Madhya Pradesh: A 20-year-old NEET coaching student allegedly died by suicide at her rented apartment in Madhya Pradesh’s Kota on Wednesday, August 26. The incident marks eighth reported case of death by suicide involving a coaching student in Kota since January this year.
The deceased, identified as Khooshbu Patel was preparing for the medical entrance examination for the second time. The 20-year-old was reportedly distressed after scoring around 450 marks in her previous NEET-UG attempt. The 20-year-old girl was found hanging at her apartment in Landmark City.

According to the police, though the exact reason behind the extreme step was yet to be ascertained as there was no suicide note recovered, it is alleged that the girl was distressed after scoring around 450 marks in her previous NEET-UG attempt.
The deceased student’s sister was also preparing for the JEE examination in the same flat. After she returned to the flat around 9 pm after classes and found the door locked from inside. Though the security guards and neighbours rushed Khooshbu to hospital, she was declared dead on arrival.
Police have registered a case based on a complaint filed by Khooshbu’s grandfather, and further investigation is underway.
