A heart touching video from Varanasi, circulated on social media on Wednesday, shows an elderly man saving a four-year-old who was electrocuted from a waterlogged road.

The child was in pain as he remains some time in the water electrocuted. Some have tried to save him but eventually withdrawn after getting electric shocks touching the water.

Then the elderly man come forward and brought the child out of the electrocution in his second attempt. He used a stick and instructed the child to hold it tightly. As the child obeyed, the old man with utmost caution bravely pulled the twig towards himself, and saved the child”s life.

The incident happened within the Chetganj police station area of ​​Uttar Pradesh”s Varanasi, reported a local media. The video went viral on social media is a CCTV footage from a nearby shop, and in it the child who came and fell into the water is clearly visible. The child kept trying to get up but his attempts went futile and is seen crying in pain.

The passengers, of an e-rickshaw passed by, suddenly went out and tried to rescue the child. But they immediately retreated after getting electric shock. After trying to rescue the child by throwing a towel, the old man extended the wooden stick.
