Haryana Primary Teachers Recruitment 2024 Notification Out For 1,456 Vacancies
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced the recruitment process for 1,456 primary teacher vacancies for the year 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can visit the official website – hssc.gov.in for the online application. The last date to apply is August 21 and the last day for fee payment is August 23. Notably, the application has to be submitted in online mode only.
As per the official notification, candidates should save the application form as the hard copy of the form along with all the uploaded documents must be brought to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission when asked for verification. Documents must be carefully uploaded as those not uploaded on the website will not be entertained later. However, HSSC may request additional documents from the candidates if necessary.
To be eligible for the posts a candidate must be between 18 and 42 years of age.

The category wise vacancies are as follows:
HSSC Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the vacancies a candidate must possess the given educational qualification.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2
year Diploma in Elementary Education; or - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2
year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE
(Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002; of - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-
year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); or - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2
year Diploma in Education (Special Education); or - B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by
whatever name known);
Other criterias are
- Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test
(HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET); - Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of
the subject
