PIB Clarifies Over A Fake Railway Recruitment Notification For 4660 Posts

Railways Ministry has issued a clarification regarding fake recruitment notification for 4208 posts of Constable and 452 Sub-inspectors in RPF on a website, namely ‘RTUEXAM.NET’.

The PIB Fact Check notified about the fictitious message being circulated on website of ‘RTUEXAM.NET’ regarding recruitment for 4208 vacancies of Constable and 452 Sub-inspectors in Railway Protection Force (RPF). Ministry of Railway through a press release clarified that no such notification has been issued by Railway Protection Force or Ministry of Railways on their official websites or through any print or electronic media.

The press release informed that it is to reiterate that the news is fake and should be ignored by all.

The fake notification informs about the total vacancies of 4660 of constable and sub-inspector with application starting date as April 15, 2024 and closing date as May 14, 2024. It called for the posts under Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).

Along with the clarification over the fake notification, ministry also advised candidates to not share personal and financial information with such fake recruiters.

The PIB on Social Media platform X shared, “A Fake notice issued in the name of Railway Ministry regarding recruitment of sub-inspector and constable in Railway Protection Forces is circulating on Social Media”. The tweet also mentions that no such notice has been issued by Railway Ministry.

Recently, a Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) notification informing over 1 Lakh Group D vacancies was also got viral on social media. Since RRB hadn’t posted any such information on its official website, the recruitment notification looks fraudulent and looks like a con job by people who wanted to get some easy clicks for their website.
