The Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) of the Indian Railways notified the recruitment details to fill 2000 vacancies for constables and 250 vacancies for Sub-Inspectors in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).
Among the published vacancies 10% seats are reserved for ex-servicemen and 15% for women candidates. Applicants can go through the application procedure and eligibility criteria on the official website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

Age requirement
For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive), a candidate must be between 20-25 years old and for Constable (Executive) post, the candidate’s age must lie in between 18-25 years. However, candidates from reserved categories can claim for upper-age relaxation.
Educational Qualification
For the post of Sub Inspector, graduation from a recognised university is essential and for Constable, the candidate must be matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognised board.
Recruitment Procedure
Phase I: Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
Phase II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be administered by the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
Phase III: Document Verification will be conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
To qualify the CBT, Candidates need to secure a minimum of 35% marks (30% for SC and ST candidates). The result of the CBT will be processed and finalised by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and the call letter for the PMT/PET will be issued by the RRB in consultation with RPF Nodal officers
