RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Application Process Begins For 4660 SI, Constable Posts

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have begun the application process for a total of 4660 SI and constable posts from today, April 15, 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can visit the respective RRB official websites to apply. The last date of application for the given vacancies is May 14, 2024, and the correction window will be opened from May 15 to 24, 2024.

The railway notification includes 452 vacancies for Sub-Inspector (Executive) and 4208 vacancies for constable (executive) in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Forces.

RRB Recruitment 2024: Eligibility

Candidates for the Constable (Executive) positions must be between the ages of 18 and 28 as of July 1, 2024, and for the SI positions must be between the ages of 20 and 28 as of the deadline. This contains a 3-year age relaxation in the age limit due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Candidates in the reserve category will be eligible for an additional age relaxation.

Those appearing for the constable posts must attain at least a Class 10 certificate from an accredited board. To be eligible for the SI positions, candidates must have graduated from an accredited university. Those whose results have not been announced yet are not eligible to apply for the given vacancies.

The application fee for the unreserved category is Rs 500 but a fee relaxation is given to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, females, minorities, or economically weaker sections. For these categories, Rs 250 will be charged which will be refunded after appearing for the examination.

Notably, 15 percent of the seats are reserved for women candidates.

The examination will be conducted in a computer-based format (CBT) followed by the physical efficiency test (PET) and physical measurement test (PMT).

Step 4: Submit the application fee and complete the procedure.

Step 5: Download the application form and save it for further use.
