RRB Invites Application For 7951 Vacancies; Know More Details

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of a Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, and Chemical and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research). Eligible and interested candidates can apply through online mode only, from July 30, 2024, till August 29, 2024 (23:59 hours). Candidates must possess a working mobile number and valid email ID for further communication.

The recruitment will take place through a multi-stage process including the First Stage of the Computer Based Test (CBT-I), the Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).

Normally 15 times of candidates are called for the 2nd stage of the examination which is based on the merit from the first stage. There will be negative markings in the CBT-I and CBT-II. 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Candidates from the age group 18 to 36 are eligible to apply and it is subjected to the age relaxation for different groups (check the detailed notification)

SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, female, transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward Class candidates are eligible for fee relaxation.

The modification window will open only after the closing date of application submission from August 30 to September 8, 2024.

Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational/technical qualifications are not eligible to apply. Candidates should possess prescribed educational/technical qualifications on or before the closing date for submission of application for this CEN.

Each candidate is allowed to apply to only one RRB and only one common Online Application. Applications to more than one RRB will lead to the rejection of all the applications.
