The visuals were captured at Tharuvakkurissi, where party workers had visited a house following a death in the neighbourhood.

According to the allegations, after interacting with people at the location, the group moved to a nearby house where money was handed to an elderly woman.
What has intensified the controversy is the claim that Sobha Surendran was present at the spot during the incident.
Reports suggest that she was in the vehicle while the alleged cash distribution took place. The video also reportedly shows her reacting angrily after noticing that the incident was being recorded.
