'Will Retire From Politics If UDF Loses Kerala Assembly Elections, VD Satheesan Repeats
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Leader of the Opposition and senior Congress leader V D Satheesan repeated on Tuesday, April 7, his statement that he would leave politics if the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) failed in the upcoming Kerala Assembly Elections scheduled to be held on April 9.
Speaking to reporters, the Congress leader said he would keep his word and quit politics, adding that he is not like Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who does not keep his words. Satheesan had announced the same earlier too.

As intense battle is expected between the two major fronts – CMP-led left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led UDF as the election campaign is all set to end this evening. The BJP is also eyeing to make significant inroad, with powerful election campaigns across the state.
