Crescent Moon Sighted In Kerala: Eid-Ul-Fitr To Be Celebrated On Monday

New Delhi: As crescent the moon was sighted across India, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bangaluru and Kerala etc, Eid all-Fitr is all set to be celebrated across India tomorrow (Monday). With the moon sighting across the country, believers are biding farewell to the holy month of Ramadan and fasting.

The Shawwal 1446 AH crescent moon has been sighted in Kerala and most of other parts of India, confirming that Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 will be celebrated on Monday, March 31.

Gulf countries, except Oman, celebrated Eid Al Fitr on Sunday as crescent moon was sighted in Saudi Arabia, a day earlier. Several other GCC countries inlcuding UAE celebrated Eid Al Fitr on Sunday, with the moon spotted in the region.
