Kerala Home Minister Explains Reason For Vigilance Probe Against Gyanesh Kumar Over 2006 Case
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Kerala home minister Ramesh Chennithala on Monday, October 5, explained why the state government ordered the reopening of a 2006 case now against current chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Citing serious questions raised in a fresh petition over the KSTP issue, the death of project manager Lee See Been, and the earlier inquiry, the home minister said he asked Vigilance to examine the record and proceed according to law.
“The truth must come out,” Chennithala wrote on X
Why reopen a case from 2006 now?
Because a fresh petition has raised serious questions about the KSTP matter, the death of project manager Lee See Been, and what happened to the earlier inquiry.
I have asked Vigilance to examine the record and proceed according to law.
The truth must come out.
