VD Satheesan Takes oath As Kerala Chief Minister, Congress Top Bras Present
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: VD Satheesan took oath as Kerala chief minister on Monday, May 18, in the presence of Congress top brass. The swearing-in ceremony was held at Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
State BJP President Rajeev Chandrashekhar, CPI leader Binoy Viswam were also present in the event. The ceremony ushers a Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) back to power after a ten-year gap.

The UDF won a historic 102 seats in the recently held Assembly Elections. All the council of ministers also took oath as ministers in Satheesan’s cabinet. Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office to Satheesan and his 20-member Cabinet.
