The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today released its 12th list of candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The candidates released comprised from four states – Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. A total of seven candidates are included in the latest list.
The party fielded Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhonsle from Satara Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra. From Punjab, the party nominated Manjeet Singh Manna Miawind from Khadoor Sahib seat, Anita Som Prakash from SC seat Hoshiarpur seat, IAS officer Parampal Kaur Sindhu from Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency.
The latest list included two candidates from Uttar Pradesh; Thakur Vishwadeep Singh from Firozabad Lok Sabha seat and Shashank Mani Tripathi from Deoria constituency. From West Bengal, the saffron party”s latest list named Abhijit Das (Bobby) from Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha constituency.
Notably, AAP has also released four more candidates” names today for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Congress also released its latest list of candidates on April 14, nominating a total of ten candidates from Punjab, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. With three more days to go for the first phase of polling, political parties are in full swing in their campaigns. Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday addressed a campaign rally in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and is expected to address a rally in Bihar”s Gaya on Tuesday.
Rahul Gandhi also conducted a massive poll campaign rally yesterday at his Wayanad constituency, from where the Congress leader is vying for his second term.
