Congress general secretary in charge of organisation KC Venugopal today announced the second list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and said the fight is between the rich and poor, and the Congress party is standing with the poor of the country in this fight.
Mr Venugopal announced 43 names as candidates for Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.

Before this, last week, the party had released 39 candidates including the name of former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who has been named again from Kerala’s Wayanad.

In the latest list, according to Mr Venugopal, out of the 43 candidates, 10 are general candidates, 13 OBC candidates, 10 SC candidates, 9 ST candidates and 1 Muslim candidate.
