Prashant Kishor has been heading a padayatra titled Jan Suraaj Yatra across his home state Bihar over an year now.

On Friday, Nitish Kumar was unanimously re-elected as Janata Dal (United) Chief, months ahead of Lok Sabha polls, and announced that they will lead seat-sharing talking with INDIA bloc alliance and will begin campaign from January. While addressing the media after the meeting, JD(U) leader KC Tyagi called Nitish Kumar as the “Prime Minister of Ideas” of the INDIA alliance.

“(Bihar CM) Nitish Kumar is the convenor and Prime Minister of the ideas of the INDIA alliance. He has given so much priority to the issue of social justice,” NDTV reports as Tyagi is saying.

This sudden move from JD(U) leaders came as they have been reportedly upset about Nitish Kumar not being given the due recognition in the Alliance, and there were also reports that Nitish Kumar was upset over proposing Mallikarjun Kharge”s name as the bloc”s Prime Minister in their meeting. He later dismissed the fact that he was unhappy.
