The political strategist Prashant Kishor was slammed by netizens for his remarks on Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav”s Education. When Mr Yadav defended Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over his controversial population control statement, Mr Kishor on Wednesday took an aim at Mr Yadav and said since he did not clear class 9, he has no knowledge about sex education taught at school.
Addressing an event, the election guru who is currently undertaking a Jan Suraaj Yatra across Bihar, said: “Tejashwi has no knowledge about sex education as he did not attend school. People know he did not even clear Class 9.”
It was on Tuesday while underlining the value of education and role of women in population control in State Assembly, Mr Kumar explained in a graphic and derogatory language that educated married women know how to ensure sexual intercourse does not result in pregnancy.
His comment evoked widespread criticism from BJP and others; Prime Minister Narendra Modi, without citing his name, said: “They are not even ashamed.”
However, Mr Yadav defended the Chief Minister and argued that his words should be seen in right context. “Whatever the Chief Minister was saying was about sex education. People become hesitant over this topic, but it is taught in schools — in science, biology. Children learn this. He said what needs to be done practically to control the population. This should not be taken in a wrong manner, but as sex education,” Mr Yadav said.
It was in reaction to Mr Yadav”s statement, Pollster made the said comment. But it has not sit well with netizens; they attacked Mr Kishor for his arrogance. Some of the comments are listed below:
