Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls, all parties are gearing up their strategies and techniques to advance their chances in the election. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), led by K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) who faced setback in the recent Telangana Assembly Elections is now planning for parliamentary elections. The name of the party has changed from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to BRS in 2022 with the thought of advancing its national prospects.
BRS working President KT Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR, in his social media platform X, posts a note with the question, “Why should Telangana vote for Team KCR in 2024 Parliament elections?”

Following, he answers, “To make sure Telangana Voice In Parliament is heard loud and clear”.
Proposing their party”s prospects, KTR added that if peruse through the statistics of the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha it will reveal how BRS party MPs performed in the parliament by raising questions and demanding the Union Government secure the rights and interests of Telangana.
In the table attached, it can be seen that in the 16th Lok Sabha, BRS has raised 2726 questions, while Congress asked only 537 questions. BJP comes distant third with 12 questions. Similarly, in the 17th Lok Sabha, BRS has raised 2028 questions while Congress could raise only 734 questions. BJP, with the third, has raised 178 questions.
