The incumbent Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party has conceded defeat in the Telangana assembly election as the Indian National Congress is staging a clear lead in the state. As the vote count progresses, Congress has won nine seats, giving it a clear lead of 59 seats.
Whereas the ruling BRS could manage only six wins. They are also leading by 32 seats. Acknowledging the defeat as unexpected, state personal account minister for municipal administration and urban development, industry KTR, conveyed his gratitude to the people of Telangana for giving BRS two consecutive terms of government.
Grateful to the people of Telangana for giving @BRSparty two consecutive terms of Government 🙏
