“Megalomaniac”: KTR “Good Manners” Attack On Revanth Reddy Over Wall Portrait

BRS leader and former Telangana minister KT Rama Rao criticised Revanth Reddy for what he described as a display of “megalomania” over a wall portrait of the Telangana Chief Minister. The criticism was sparked by a photo shared by Reddy, which depicted a large portrait of himself prominently displayed on a wall during a meeting with global business leaders, including Foxconn Chairman Young Liu.

In the original post, Reddy expressed his delight over meeting Liu in New Delhi, discussing strategies to position Telangana as a global manufacturing hub. He highlighted that the meeting was part of a broader plan to invite Foxconn to establish a new facility in Hyderabad’s Future City. Reddy assured that interactions between the two delegations would continue, with Liu expected to visit Hyderabad soon, hinting at “exciting news” on the horizon.

However, it wasn’t the content of the discussions that caught KT Rama Rao’s attention.

Reacting to the photo, Rama Rao questioned Reddy’s judgment, stating, “What kind of a megalomaniac will have such glaringly distasteful pictures of himself in the meeting hall and that too when meeting global business leaders like Foxconn Chairman Mr. Young Liu?” He further remarked, “Can someone teach this man some good manners?”

Meanwhile, a user gave a context to the painting while commenting on the actual image: “For people who are interested : First of all its a painting not photograph ,
There is nothing derogatory , in-fact the Indian state symbol was given a “higher” importance. Finally its his house , not any govt office. Ironically he wears the same dress as in the painting !!”.

In a related development, the Foxconn officials have also met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah recently. After the meeting, the Karnataka Chief Minister wrote: “

Had a productive discussion with Mr. Young Liu, Chairman of Foxconn. Karnataka, with its rich cultural heritage and robust law and order, is well-positioned to create a synergy that will drive long-lasting growth and innovation. We are paving the way for a future where industries not only thrive but also contribute significantly to the state’s progress and prosperity. Looking forward to a fruitful collaboration that benefits all.”
