Class 10 Student Gang Raped By Five Men In Bihar; Later Thrown Into A Well To Die

A Class X student was allegedly gang-raped and killed in Saran district. The heinous crime was committed by 5 people from the same area. The victim was dragged by the accused to a bathroom, raped, and then thrown into a well, leading to her death.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening, following which the villagers protested over the incident. The mob was pacified after assurance, and one person was taken into custody for questioning, police said on Thursday. The other four accused are absconding. An SIT has been formed to investigate the matter.

The mother of the deceased 16-year-old girl lives in the village with her two daughters while her husband works outside the state.

Notably, the accused had already attempted to rape the girl while entering her home and had threatened her family.

As per the reports, the accused used to harass the deceased student. The girl went to her old house where the incident took place. The accused dragged her to the well and threw her to die. The girl had already died before she was taken out of the well.
