
New Delhi: Woman Found Dead With Bullet Wound In GTB Enclave
New Delhi: A woman’s body, estimated to be around 20 years old, was found shot dead in the GTB Enclave area of Shahdara in Delhi, police said on Monday.
Delhi Police stated that they have received a PCR (Police Control Room) call Monday night regarding a woman lying with bullet injuries.

Neha Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) said that the local police soon reached the spot and found the lady lying dead with two bullet injuries on the body.
They are working to locate the identity of the deceased, ACP Yadav added.

The circumstances led to the shooting are still remain unclear, however, Police suspect that personal enmity behind the murder, and investigation is progressing from all the possible angles.
The Police said that they are scanning CCTV footages from nearby areas to identify the culprits. The area was closed off and a crime team was called to inspect the scene.

In another case, on March 29, a woman’s body was discovered inside a house in Shahdara’s Vivek Vihar area. Entering the house, they found the decomposed body of a woman inside a bag, which was wrapped in a blanket and placed in a box. An incense stick had been lit, officials added.
The house belonged to Vivekanand Mishra, of around 50-60 years of age. The body has not been identified and no arrests have been made yet, ACP Yadav stated. Legal proceedings are currently underway, she added.
