Supreme Court Flags 'Lapses' In Twisha Sharma Death Case; Takes Suo Motu Cognisance
New Delhi: The Supreme Court acknowledged concerns raised by the family of Twisha Sharma, who was found dead at her marital home in Bhopal on May 12 allegedly after facing harassment from in-laws and husband. The top court noted that there has been institutional bias and procedural lapses in handling Twisha Sharma death case.
The court had on Saturday, May 23, taken suo motu cognisance of the controversial and suspicious death of 33-year-old model-turned-actor and former “Miss Pune” winner from Noida.
