In Tosham, it was a family fight. Shruti Choudhry won the election against her cousin Anirudh Chaudhry with the margin of 14,257 votes.  Independent candidate Shashi Ranjan Parmar comes in third place.

Tosham assembly constituencies lies in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. The key players in the constituency are BJP’s Shruti Choudhry, Indian National Congress’ Anirudh Chaudhary, Daljeet Singh of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Om Singh of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). It has been a Congress bastion since 2000, with Kiran Choudhary winning the seat consistently from 2005 by-polls.

It was an intense fight between BJP and Congress in Tosham, with Shruti and Anil locking horns. To make it more interesting, it was a fight between among the family. Shruti Choudhry and Anil Chaudhry are cousins.

Shruti Choudhry is the daughter of Kiran Choudhry, who quit Congress and joined BJP. Shruti also started off her political career with Congress in 2005. She joined BJP in 2024.
