Texas, US: Billionaire Elon Musk is reportedly building a massive mansion complex in Austin, Texas, to house his large family. The $35 million project aims to bring his 11 children and two of their mothers under one roof, according to The New York Times.

Tesla Owner Musk’s family is diverse with children from three relationships. His first wife, Justine Musk, bore six children. His second wife, Talulah Riley, didn’t have children with him. Musk has two children with Claire Boucher (Grimes) and three with Shivon Zilis.

The compound reportedly includes a 14,400-square-foot main villa and a six-bedroom mansion nearby. Musk wants his younger children to grow up together and spend more time with his family.

However, the project faces scrutiny. The U.S. Justice Department investigated whether Tesla’s resources were used for Musk’s personal benefit. Musk denied the rumours as per the reports, but the controversy lingers.

Elon Musk‘s family dynamics are complex and have been in discussions at times. His older children, like daughter Vivian, are estranged and have publicly criticised their father’s parenting.

However, the new compound’s occupants are uncertain and he didn’t publically disclose any details regarding the Great Haven plan.

Elon’s first marriage was to Justine Musk who is a Canadian author, in 2000. They had six children together, but tragically lost their first son, Nevada, at just 10 weeks old. The couple divorced in 2008.

In 2010, Elon married British actress Talulah Riley. They divorced in 2012, but surprisingly remarried in 2013, only to divorce again in 2016. Despite their tumultuous relationship, they didn’t have any children together.

After his second divorce from Talulah, Elon Musk reportedly dated actress Amber Heard from 2016 to 2017. He then started a relationship with Canadian musician Claire Boucher, also known as Grimes, in 2018. They have two children together, but parted ways in 2021.

Elon also has three children with Shivon Zilis who is a Canadian businesswoman. Their relationship has been relatively private, but they have been spotted together at various events.
