The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday unveiled the T20I team India”s new jersey. The new jersey was revealed in the presence of BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Indian team captain Rohit Sharma.

The new jersey was officially launched by its kit partner Adidas on May 6 and it was made available for purchase across the Adidas stores from May 7. The brand-new jerseys were presented with the tagline “One jersey. One nation”.

The jersey will be worn by the Indian players during the next month’s T20 World Cup 2024. It has a prominent dash of orange color on it. The launch video which was released on May 6th showcased the 15-member squad of Team India including players like Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav. The new jersey also features tri-colour strips and has the logo of Adidas and BCCI.
With the new jersey on, India is looking forward to starting afresh. The 2024 edition of the ICC T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies. The game is slated to begin on June 1. Meanwhile, India will begin its campaign at the T20 World Cup with a match against Ireland. India will meet its arch-rival on the field on June 9.
