Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo dropped an inspiring comment on French forward Kylian Mbappe’s post after he completed the much-awaited transfer to Champions League winners Real Madrid.

Madrid officially announced the signing of the French World Cup winner on Monday. The club signed him for an initial contract of five years. Upon his signing, Mbappe posted his pictures on social media along with his inspiration Ronaldo.

He took to social media and said, “A dream come true, So happy and proud to join the club of my dream @realmadrid Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. ¡Hala Madrid!”

Responding to his post on social media, Ronaldo said: “My turn to watch, Excited to see you light up the Bernabeu… Hala Madrid!”.

A bunch of footballers like Marcelo and Tchouameni congratulated him on the signing and wished him the best for his latest move.

As per sources, Mbappe will earn €15 million per year approximately at Los Blancos. He received a €150 million ($16.2m) fee as a signing amount, which will be paid over the course of his contract.

His new teammates, including, Vinicius Jr., Thibaut Courtois, welcomed him on his Instagram post while French teammate Eduarado Camavinga shared a photo of himself with the Frenchman on his social media account.

“Welcome to your new home,” Courtois said.
