Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka hosted a private dinner for his franchise captain KL Rahul following their altercation after the 10-wicket defeat to SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
Their altercation led to massive outrage on social media with fans criticising Goenka for not showing sportsmanship towards the premier India wicketkeeper batter. It was also speculated that Rahul will leave the franchise or will be sacked following the disgusting behavior of the owners.
However, in recent pictures going viral on social media, Rahul and Goenka were seen shaking hands and hugging each other at the private dinner. While some fans called it “Fake Pr” others said “but the damage is done”.
“Everyone was upset on that devasting loss and so obviously the Owner will. Now all GOOD,” a fan mentioned. “Picture of the day. Matter solve,” another fan commented.
