Approximately 34 crores to the title winners and more than 16 crores to the runners-up… ICC Men’s WC is scheduled with a ‘wow’ jackpot for its ten-team 2023 tournament season with a total pool prize of approximately 84 crores.

International Cricket Council on Friday September 22 confirmed the prize money for the 2023 Men’s World Cup and announced that they spend 10 million US Dollars (Rs 83,12,00,000) overall. While the winners of the game will be awarded with a US$ of 4 million (Rs 33,24,80,000), the runners-up earn US$2 million (Rs 16,62,40,000).

The losing semi-finalists will get $800,000 (Rs 6,58,18,634) each.

Incentives are also allocated by the council for winning each of the 45 league matches.

The 13the edition of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is a ten-team tournament, commenced from October 5. It is a 48-match event, played across ten venues. Teams are playing each other in a round-robin format, with the top four making it to the semi-finals.

Winners of each match in the group stage will receive US$40,000 (Rs 32,90,647) and the six teams that do not qualify for the semi-finals will be paid by US$100,000 (Rs 82,26,618).

The tournament opened on October 5 at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad with the previous years’ finalists England and New Zealand on pitch.
