BCCI To Provide Free Drinking Water For Spectators In ODI World Cup 2023

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made a significant decision to provide free mineral and packaged drinking water to the spectators during the ICC World Cup 2023 matches. Packaged drinking water will be provided free of cost across all the venues in the country. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah took to his official X (formerly called Twitter) handle to announce the decision.

“I am proud to announce that we”re providing FREE mineral and packaged drinking water for spectators at stadiums across India. Stay hydrated and enjoy the games!” Jay Sah wrote on X. “Let”s create unforgettable memories during CWC 2023!” BCCI Secretary added. Soon after this announcement, cricket fans across the nation welcomed this decision and thanked BCCI for this initiative.

Ten teams are participating in the 13th edition of the ICC Men”s Cricket World Cup, which is being held across ten different venues in India. Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow and Kolkata are the venues of the tournament.

The prestigious event is scheduled to conclude on November 19, 2023.

The first semi-final of the tournament will be held on November 15 and the second semi-final is scheduled for November 16. The much-awaited finale will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19, with November 20 slated as the reserve day. Fans are also waiting for the India vs Pakistan clash, scheduled for October 14. Meanwhile, the inaugural match of the tournament is currently underway as New Zealand opted to bowl against England.
