Rivals Meet: Messi Vs Ronaldo To Clash Soon As Inter Miami Confirms Saudi Tour
The greatest football rivalry is set to face each other in the desert land of Arabia. Football fans all over the world have been waiting eagerly for this moment. Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami FC is set to face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nasr in 2024 as part of its pre-season tour.
In an official statement of the club, they announced that the team will tour to Saudi Arabia during 2024 preseason to participate in the Riyadh Season Cup as part of the club’s first-ever international tour. “The team will play two matches in the country in a round robin tournament format, taking on Saudi powerhouses Al-Hilal SFC and Al Nassr FC,” the statement read.

Inter Miami has confirmed that they will clash with Al Hilal on January 29. Later on February 1, the team will play against Al Nassr.
In a press release, Inter Miami chief business officer Xavier Asensi said that these matches will help them grow their fan bases in Saudi Arabia and worldwide.
“This is another major opportunity to create lasting relationships with passionate fans. We are excited to connect with new supporters in Saudi Arabia, and also hope people all over the world will be tuning in to see a pair of dream matches like these,” said Asensi.
These scheduled matches are part of the three-team Riyadh Season Cup, making the first international tour for Inter Miami, featuring trip to El Salvador and Hong Kong as well.
Ronaldo and Messi faced each other 35 times in their career, in which Messi won 16 matches while Ronaldo managed 10 wins. Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Al Nassr last season. As for Messi, he made from French Club Paris-saint German to Inter Miami this year.
