Neymar Jr, Riyadh-based Al Hilal club’s sensational acquisition from Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain was unveiled officially on Saturday. The gala ceremony was held at King Fahd International Stadium.

“The historical is here,” posted Al Hilal”s X handle.

According to reports, Neymar Jr joined the Saudi Arabia Pro league club for a €90 million contract for two years with perks listed as high end cars and a sprawling mansion.

“I am very excited to write a new story chasing all the objectives with the club and my team mates – winning more and more titles and fulfilling the club’s ambition,” Neymar had said on Wednesday.

Before joining the French side Paris Saint-Germain, the 31 year old Brazilian player had worn the jerseys of Santos FC and FC Barcelona.

He had scored 71 goals and picked up 37 assists in 138 matches with Santos and left for Europe to join FC Barcelona in the summer of 2013.

Neymar Jr spent four seasons with the Catalan club and scored 105 times and provided 76 assists in 186 appearances.
