Watch: Air Show Rehearsal Ahead Of ICC World Cup Final

The Ahmedabad Narendra Modi Stadium will be witnessing a historic clash on November 19 Sunday, as the cricket giants India and Australia will come head-to-head on 2023 ICC Men’s World Cup Final. The ‘mega-event’ is expected to be attended by several eminent personalities including India’s incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many major celebrities and ‘stars’ of the nation. To enthral the celebration, the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran team is all set to perform aerobatic displays ahead of the matches.

A video of the rehearsal surfaced on social media recently and went viral. The team, reportedly, perform a ten minutes show before the start of the most-anticipated mega-match. The air show will definitely add colour to the closing match of the prestigious tournament.

The Surya Kiran aerobatic team of IAF has nine aircrafts and has already performed numerous airstrikes across the country. The trademark of the team is to demonstrate loop manoeuvres in victory formation, barrel roll manoeuvres, and the formation of various shapes in the sky, said India.com.

“For the first time in history… Coming soon”, the Surya Kiran team took to X (formerly Twitter) with an aerial video footage of the stadium. “Guess What…!!”, they wrote on caption.

India will face Australia in the final match of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Sunday. Australia had won the title record five times previously. But for this season, India stood out with its unbeaten records on both sides – batting front and bowling front. The Men In Blue had secured all the games they played in this tournament.
