As per multiple reports, Akaay is a Hindi word with Turkish origin. It is derived from the hindi word “Kaya” which means body. Akaay refers to somebody who is more than just his body. In Turkish, the word means “shinning moon”. The power couple, however, is still to confirm the reason behind naming him Akaay.

In Sanskrit, the word means immortal or something that doesn”t decay.

There were speculations on Kohli missing the first four Test matches against England. His RCB teammate and former South Africa captain AB de Villiers had suggested that he missed out on the matches to stay with Anushka for the birth of their second child. However, he took a U-turn on his statement, and said that he shared a false information.

Kohli made his last Test appearance India’s last overseas tour to South Africa. He will not be a part of the Indian squad during the entire Test series against England. It is likely that he will be back in cricketing action in the IPL 2024 for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
