It is for the first time that Google is bringing its foldable phone to India.

Ahead of Google’s extravaganza ‘Made by Google’  scheduled to be held on August 13, the company releases a glimpse of its Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel Pro Fold. Google is gearing up to unveil its new Pixel Phones to keep pace with the AI race competing with all the tech giants especially Samsung’s foldable phone vista who are set to introduce their AI-infused phones in the coming months. The new 2 phones carry almost similar layout with a triple camera set up. But the company didn’t reveal the Pixel 9 Pro-Fold’s front view. It is for the first time that Google is bringing its foldable phone to India.

 Earlier, The exquisite full-on look image was posted on the TikTok account pixo_unpacking showcasing the anticipated Google Pixel 9  and 9 Pro Fold. A recent report by the French publication Dealabs disclosed the anticipated price of the Pixel 9 series available in four different colours Obsidian (black) Porcelain (white), Mojito and Cosmo. Pixel 9 Pro Fold is likely to be priced at €1,899  (Rs 1,72,8730 and Pixel 9 Pro will be priced at €1,099 (Rs 1,00,027).

Meanwhile, The Pixel 9 Pro XL seems to be as large as the base variant Pixel 9 which is also bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and comes with 3 cameras rare view than the old model. The phone body is of sleek design with glossy sides and a matte black colour backing. Along with some visual changes, the Pixel 9 is anticipated to unwrap with AI-powered features with improved performance.

The leaks suggest that the company will replace the display fingerprint with a more effective and accurate ultrasonic to curb potential errors during phone unlock. The tech giant Google hinted about the aggressive move to bring AI to create a feeling that Artificial Intelligence is a must-have in everyone’s life. The expansion and demonstration of AI by various phone makers would last till the year’s end and maybe beyond making it available for every user with improved features and future updates.

As per the reports, it was stated at Google‘s California annual conference that they strategically plan to provide access to Artificial Intelligence for a billion people with their existing apps and future updates. They adopt Generative AI through their Gemini (AI assistant) in most of their devices. Also, other prominent smartphone makers like OnePlus, and OPPO, along with Samsung have labelled partnerships with Google to bring Generative AI to their smartphones.
