Apple is currently developing augmented reality (AR)-supported products including smart glasses and AirPods. The tech giant is reportedly planning to launch a Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses rival in 2027 and also planning to introduce a pair of Airpods with cameras, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman,
Since products are still in the nascent stage, the exact date of its release cannot be confirmed, hence fans have to wait for the details about these new-advanced products. Undoubtedly, these products will signal significant shift in advancing Apple’s vision-based technology.

The smart glasses intended to provide built-in cameras, speakers, and microphones. In addition, as per the reports, it will also allow users to capture photos and videos, make calls, and interact with AR facilities. The Apple‘s exploration of Airpods with cameras is a novice idea, but details are unclear till now. There are assumptions that the camera-equipped AirPods would be used for capturing on-the-go moments, video conferencing, or for even adding AR features.
Apple’s Vision Pro was announced in June last year at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The headset carried visionOS operating system and handled both augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies.

Since its annual much-awaited the iPhone series launch is over, the upcoming event is expected to give focus more on hardware products. Besides, the reports suggest that in the October event the tech giant is planning to introduce the new M4 Macs. Along with the Mac revamping, the company may also advance its iPad lineup. Reportedly, the iPad 11th generation and iPad Mini 7th generation are likely to be introduced in the October event.
