Apple Releases iOS 17 Update To Fix iPhone 15 Overheating

If you are using an iPhone 15 Pro model, it will be a good idea to update the iOS to the latest version now. Apple has released the iOS 17.0.3 on Wednesday to fix the overheating issues to the iPhone 15 pro models. Apple informed that iOS 17.0.3 consist of security updates and major bug fixes and most importantly, it is expected to prevent iPhones from overheating.

The Apple iPhone 15 series was released in the global market on September 22 and Apple received several user complaints regarding the overheating of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max. It was reported earlier that other models running iOS 17 were also warming up. Users complained that these devices gets so hot that it becomes even difficult to hold. Since then, Apple has been working to resolve this critical issue. When these reports came, Apple informed through an official press statement that there was a bug when updating iOS 17 on the device. They also claimed that numerous third-party app updates may also cause this issue.

“This update provides important bug fixes and security updates,” Apple said while releasing the new update. Along with the iOS 17 update, Apple has also rolled out a new version of iPadOS 17. Earlier, there were also rumors that this issue in iPhone 15 Pro lineup is due to its titanium body. However, Apple completely denied these speculations. Apple is confident that it is not an issue with any hardware. They also informed that users should not be concerned by any long-term damage that results from overheating issue.
