The tech giant Microsoft announced its latest Windows 11 2024 update on Tuesday, which is also called version 24H2. The company claims that this is marked as the biggest update to the OS (Operating System) since its launch. Microsoft stated that this new foundational element is equipped to deliver advanced AI experiences along with top-notch performances. Microsoft wrote on the X platform: “Today, we’re excited to take the next step on our journey with the announcement of new AI-powered features for Copilot+ PCs and Windows 11.”

The company is referring to the new update as a full operating system that the new Windows 11 2024 comes with battery saver features which also support HDR background and LE audio along with Wi-Fi 7 capabilities for Windows-supported PCs with preferred hardware.

Microsoft said that the distribution of the Windows 11 update is set to roll out in phases for all eligible versions. Users can toggle the Windows update menu and get the latest updates when it was available to their PCs.

Now, Let’s look at users eligible for the Windows 11 2024 update:
Users with Windows 11 PC are eligible for the new update but, the one with 22H2 or 23H2 with the May security preview update is going to be the first one to receive the latest version of the new Windows 11 2024. Also, Windows Insiders will begin to see recalls on Snapdragon-powered Coopilot+ PCs from October. Customers who purchase an Intel- or AMD-powered Copilot+ PC will see Recall initially in their Windows Insider program starting in November 2024.
