The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is set to launch its Open Apex Edition in a new colour scheduled for August 7. The company has already unveiled its foldable phones in two colour variants in October 2023: Voyager Black and Emerald Dusk. OnePlus will be unwrapping the new version in stunning Crimson Shadow with enhanced storage and exquisite features.

The new Open Apex Edition remarks its competence in the foldable space and gears up to keep pace in the AI race with innovative AI tools and features. The OnePlus Open Apex Edition comes with 16GB RAM+512 GB priced at Rs 139,999 in India. The company provides exchange benefits and other offers on preorder reservations. OnePlus, one of the most popular brands among users in India, has added several top-notch specifications and features to its new fold models. The two colour variants that have already been launched are equipped with a 7.82-inch Flexi-fluid AMOLED primary display and an outer display of 6.31-inch with 2K resolution. Both the primary and cover screens have a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It is powered by Qualcomm”s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, paired with an Adreno 740 GPU.

The device houses a 4,805 mAh battery, and it also supports 67W fast charging. When it comes to the camera, the OnePlus Open is equipped with a 48-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-T808 “Pixel Stacked” CMOS sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto view, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The company has provided a 20-megapixel primary camera paired with a 32-megapixel secondary camera exclusively for selfie clicks.
