David Zinser, Intel”s Chief Financial Officer, has recently made a reference to “the Windows refresh,” which he says is due to arrive next year. Experts say that this “refresh” might be the much-awaited Microsoft Windows 12. Although Microsoft has not provided any official confirmation regarding the launch of Windows 12, this latest hint by the Intel CFO is taken as a credible addition to the rumors to the Windows 12.

“We actually think 2024 is going to be a pretty good year for client, in particular because of the Windows refresh,” said David Zinser, as spotted by PC Gamer. Ziner made this statement a month ago, during Citi’s analyst conference. Earlier too, speculations emerged that the new version of Windows would be announced as soon as next year. The Windows 11 was launched on October 5, 2021. The Windows 11 featured a modernized interface, which was designed to enhance productivity and creativity.

Some leaks suggest that Windows 12 may arrive with a new desktop Interface UI, consisting of a floating taskbar and system icons including the system tray, search bar, and weather icon might be moved to the top of the display. Windows 12 may also introduce a new lock and login screen and also, users will be able to pin widgets directly onto the desktop. The software giant had already announced that the next version of Windows will provide improved AI experiences for the users. Earlier, there were multiple reports that hardware partners including the Intel and AMD are working together with Microsoft to give Windows with enhanced AI capabilities.
