Known as ‘Edge of the World,’ the village stands at 1.131 meters height at the cliff of Tuwaik Mountain with its distinguishing dry soil-free surface. Located 100 kilometers away from the kingdom’s capital city, Riyadh, the spot is heaven for hiking enthusiasts and trekking lovers and an escape from the rush of the busy city, offering a memorable and rich experience.

It is said that the reason for the name ‘Edge of the World’ was the uninterrupted spectacular view of the horizon which one can enjoy standing atop the escarpment. It features more than 100 tombs carved into rock formations and other remains of the bygone civilizations.

The best season to embark on an exciting trip to the End of the World will be the winter as it would be hot during other seasons, and the ideal time to reach the top of the cliff is during sunrise or sunset.
