A video of a teacher at the prestigious University for the Creative Arts Film School in London using a scene from Bhramayugam as an example in a class on sound design is now going viral on social media. The video was shared on Instagram by a student attending the class, sparking discussions. Many people are commenting on social media that Bhramayugam has travelled across countries and languages, and that this is an achievement that Malayalees and Malayalam cinema can be proud of.

Bhramayugam is Rahul Sadasivan’s second work after Bhoothakalam. The film is now available on Sony Liv. The movie which was presented in monochrome format in its visual presentation is produced by Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios, Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S Sasikanth. The film grossed Rs 3.1 crore at the Kerala box office on its first day. Mammootty’s character of the magician Kodumon Potti in the film, as well as the performances of Arjun Ashokan and Siddharth Bharathan, received great applause. The dialogues for the film were written by TD Ramakrishnan.
