Malayalam supernatural thriller Vadakkan actor Kishore Kumar G revealed on Friday, the day the movie got released, that the first thing why he joined the the film was because it was a horror thriller.
In an interview with Timeline, the Karnataka-born actor said that it is a wonderful genre and it doesn’t need a star. The genre itself will give an audience. That is a big advantage, the actor said

The movie was released on Friday, March 7, and Kishore was seen as a paranormal investigator in the movie.
The actor further said that the role he got made him more into the film, adding that it was an interesting character.

“And then the technical crew of the film. There were a lot of things which were good for the film,” the Vadakkan actor added.
Kishore is familiar to Malayalam film audiences through his occasional entries to Mollywood.
His last outing was with the Mammootty-led Kannur Squad. Some of the Malayalam movies he acted include Puli Murugan, Thiruvambadi Thamban, Kanthara among others.
Notably, Kishore is expected to be featured in the much-anticipated Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Lucifer sequel, L2: Empuraan.
Referring to his bond with Kerala and Malayalees, the actor said he is also from the northern part of Kerala, adding that he is from the neighboring state, which shares a border with northern Kerala.
Vadakkan is an investigative thriller into series of mysterious deaths during a reality TV show shoot. The film confronts an unspeakable entity from a Dravidian cult practice, lurking on a mysterious island.
The movie, Vadakkan, is also special with the presence of the internationally acclaimed singer Zeb Bangash, who made her Malayalam debut with the film.
