Indian billionaire and Lulu Group Chairman, MA Yusuff Ali, is making headlines for his act of humanity, as a video of him carrying the coffin of his employee surfaced online.
In the clip, Mr. Ali was seen carrying the coffin of his employee, Shihabudheen, who was a supervisor at Abu Dhabi’s AI Wahda Mall Lulu Hypermarket. The funeral features the solemn ceremony and the burial rituals offered by the coworkers and the chairman. This heartfelt act of empathy by MA Yusuff is receiving praise from the social media users.

The video of the funeral was shared a social media page run by his followers. The chairman, who is known for his humbleness, attracted the internet’s attention for his act of empathy and responsibility. Praising the chairman’s humanity, a user wrote, “A man has died… Leading the prayer at his dead body is the country’s biggest billionaire and the company owner of the deceased person… This is what humanity is.”

Yusuff Ali is the chairperson and managing director of Lulu Group, which owns the LuLu Hypermarket chain worldwide and LuLu International Shopping Mall. He oversees a vast retail empire of 256 hypermarkets and malls across the Gulf and India. His net worth exceeds $8.9 billion, according to Forbes.
