Several activists including Greta Thunberg were arrested during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Copenhagen. Six people were detained on Wednesday at the University. However, the police have declined to confirm the identities of those arrested.
Ekstra Bladet, a news outlet has published the picture of a Swedish climate activist wearing a keffiyeh shawl handcuffed.

Meanwhile, Thunberg has also shared the images on Instagram of riot police entering the building where Students Against the Occupation was staging the protest.

Sharing the video on her Instagram story, Thunberg wrote, “Students Against the Occupation and I are at the University of Copenhagen’s administration building”.
“Police have been called, violently entered the building with a ram wearing assault rifles. They are evicting everyone as we speak,” she added.
In another video shared, she added, “Students have been arrested and are being taken to the station this very moment”.
Pro-Palestinian protestors have set up encampments at universities around the US and Europe since last spring to protest against Israel’s bombardment of Gaza and occupation of Palestinian territories.
Though police have not confirmed the identity of the detained, a spokesperson for Students Against the Occupation told Reuters that Thunberg had been held by law enforcement.

The 21-year-old, who rose to international fame for calling attention to climate change had previously accused Israel of genocide over the nearly 11-month-old war against Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.
Last year in October, the Israeli military lashed out at Thunberg after she sent a message supporting Palestinians. And she had also accused Israel of “war crimes” and “genocide” as its offensive in Gaza ramped up.
