“Deeply Saddened And Pained”: Lulu Group's MA Yusuff Ali On Kuwait Amir’s Death

Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director MA Yusuff Ali expressed his grief over the death of Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah. The West Asia-based Indian-origin businessman has also expressed his condolences to the Royal Family members, citizens and the residents of the State of Kuwait. Mr Yusuff Ali, in a social media post, talked about the valuable support he received from Sheikh Nawaf to the entire business community including his Lulu Group in the state of Kuwait.

The state media of Kuwait announced on Saturday the death of the Amir of Kuwait. He was 86. The cause of the death is unknown.

“I pray Almighty Allah grant eternal peace and Magfirah to the noble departed soul. I remember with profound gratitude the valuable support extended by His Highness (Allah Rahma) to the entire business community including us in the State of Kuwait,” Mr Yusuff Ali said in an Instagram post.

Kuwaiti state television had stopped its regular programming before announcing the death of Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah had been admitted to the hospital in late November due to a medical emergency.
