US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, wearing a cross on his forehead for Ash Wednesday, reaffirmed President Donald Trump’s “last warning” against Hamas in which he said there would be “hell to pay” for the people of Gaza if the remaining Israeli captives were not released.

Marco Rubio said, “President Trump has heard the hostages and is tired of watching videos. He is outrageous and lost his patience with the release of 3 and 5 hostages. He created time and space for it to be solved and now the time has come to an end”. While calling the Hamas as monsters, Rubio said, “It need to be end now”.

The White House has released footage of US President Donald Trump meeting and interacting with 8 hostages released from Gaza held on October 7, 2023. The hostages told their ordeal and stayed with Hamas and shared their experience of treatment while remaining in captivity.

Later, after meeting with the former hostages, the US President issued a warning to Hamas to release all of the Hostages immediately. Trump condemn the Palestinian organisation and said to send Israel everything which is needed to finish the job. “Not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say”.
