Oman's Duqm Port Hit By Two Drones In Suspected Iranian Attack

Iran has targeted Oman’s Duqm Port in its latest attack targeting US bases in the gulf nations in retaliation to the combined attack carried out by the US and Israel across cities in Iran. The commercial port was reportedly hit by two drones, causing damage to structures and injuries, Oman state media, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

Oman has been mediating negotiation talks between Iran and the US. Oman Sultanate has condemned the attack, and said measures are underway to protect the nation and its citizens.

While one missile strike hit mobile workers’ accommodation, injuring a single worker, the second landed near fuel storage tanks in the vicinity of the port, with debris falling in the area.

The emergency response teams were deployed immediately following the incident and that the injured worker received medical attention. There are no casualties reported.
