Pakistan Cricketer Muhammed Rizwan Says Today's Win Is For The "Brothers And Sisters" Of Gaza (image : iMRizwanPak)
Muhammed Rizwan, the Pakistan cricketer dedicates his victory against Sri Lanka to the “brothers and sisters of Gaza”, adhering to the fast escalating “war” in the Gaza Strip and Israel. During the match against Sri Lanka yesterday, Pakistan has crossed the target of 345 runs with ace. Muhammed Rizwan stole the lime light by garnering 131 runs in 121 deliveries. He was followed by Abdullah Shafique, who scored 113 runs.
After the victory, the Pakistan’s “batting hero” said he is “confident” about winning the next game which is against India, with the same plan as the team had unfurled today in the field, says report.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly twitter), Mr. Rizwan wrote that he was “happy to contribute in the win” of his team and the win was for the people of Gaza. He also shared his gratitude towards Hyderabad, who is hosting the Cricket World Cup 2023, for its “hospitality and support throughout”.

Mr. Muhammed’s post has garnered him backlashes from the social media users as they asked how the victory in Gaza is going to help the people of Gaza. Another user slammed the cricketer for not uttering a “single word” when many in Israel has “lost their lives”.

At the same time, the “war” between the Palestine and Israel is growing deadly. Report says that the death toll has risen to 2,100. Palestinians said, they are buckling themselves for another Nakba (catastrophe), similar to the one happened 75 years ago. This move and the current “bloody” war erupted was the result of the “unprecedented” attack hurled at the Israel by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. As Israel pool in tanks and troops to “plummet” the Gaza Strip, with the alleged aid of United States as the US President “strongly condemn” the “sheer evil” unleashed by the Palestinian resistance group.
