Qatar’s Defence Ministry says its air defence had successfully intercepted a missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base. “Thanks to God, the vigilance of the armed forces, and the precautionary measures taken, the incident did not result in any deaths or injuries,” the statement read.
Further, the ministry had reassured the public that Qatari airspace and territory remain safe and that its armed forces are fully prepared to handle any threat. The Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, had expressed the State of Qatar’s strong condemnation of the attack targeted at the Al Udeid Air Base by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

He further affirmed that Qatar’s air defences had successfully thwarted the attack and intercepted the Iranian missiles.
The Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had also noted that Qatar was one of the first countries who had warned against the dangers of Israeli escalation in the region.
